This is our very vague route plan. (Our actual route is here) It takes in Salta, through Catamarca and La Rioja to Mendoza. We then plan on popping over to Chile, for the main purpose of resetting our Visas so we can stay in Argentina for more than 90 days! Then it's down to the Lake district on the Argentine side, the idea being to get to Bariloche for Christmas. We then head back over to Chile to cycle down the Carretera Austral all the way to Villa oHiggins where we'll once again head back to Argentina for Torres del Paine and el Calafate before heading south to Ushuaia. At least, that's the plan.
